The Storm Prediction Center has put all of eastern Carolina in a level 1, marginal risk, for severe storms. The time frame for the severe risk will run from late morning Thursday through the early evening hours.

New Jersey will be wet and rainy, but the state will be spared the impacts of a major winter storm affecting the midwestern United States. Travelers should pack an umbrella and if they’re driving, change the wiper blades after weather forecasters predicting a mild and rainy-day for much of Thursday.
