The good: Guard Coby White is coming off a breakout season. He just about doubled his scoring average from 9.7 points to a career-high 19.1 in his fifth season and finished second in the Most Improved Player voting to Philadelphia's Tyrese Maxey.

A healthy LaVine is always an easy bucket, and case in point was his 28-point showing in Saturday's eventual loss to Memphis. The hope is the rest of the league is taking notice that the two-time All-Star is healthy and still available in a trade.

Zach LaVine missed most of last season because of injury trouble, and a lot of people expected him to be traded. He is back with the Bulls, however, and he is by far the highest-paid player on the team. He needs to show that he is making this team better, and so far, Chicago head coach Billy Donovan has been pleased with his play.
