Honda is recalling approximately 295,000 vehicles in the U.S. due to a software error that could lead to engine stalling or power loss.

Honda will recall 294,612 vehicles in the U.S. to fix an issue that may cause engines to stall or suffer a loss of power, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Wednesday.

Honda and Acura have recalled 295,000 vehicles in order to update their fuel injection software. Improper programming could cause the vehicles' engines to lose drive power, hesitate and stall, which could increase the risk of a crash or injury,
