While a heap of games have been enhanced for Sony’s mid-generation refresh console at launch, Cyberpunk 2077 is not among them and might not ever be. “We currently have no plans for PS5 Pro patch,” the game’s X account tweeted November 20 in response to one player salivating over the prospect of seeing Night City lit up with more graphical bells and whistles.

The ray tracing mode only includes ray-traced shadows, while the game's PC version includes ray-traced shadows, reflections, ambient occlusion, direct illumination, and even path tracing.
