The IDF announced that following the sirens that sounded at 4:21 pm in the western Galilee, approximately 15 projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory. Some of the projectiles were intercepted. No injuries were reported.

The IDF later confirmed that approximately 20 rockets crossed into Israeli territory during this initial barrage. At 9:00 a.m., a second wave of sirens blared in towns across the Upper Galilee, as a further 35 rockets were fired.

A report by The Times of Israel said that in the first barrage, around 20 rockets were fired and in the second, some 35. Many of these rockets were intercepted while others fell in open areas.
