Spider-Man director Jon Watts has canceled the sequel to his Apple TV Plus movie Wolfs, which stars Brad Pitt and George Clooney, because he says he no longer trusts Apple as a creative partner.

Director Jon Watts was all in for a Wolfs sequel with George Clooney and Brad Pitt but recently explained why he changed his mind. “I showed Apple my final cut of Wolfs early this year,” Watts, 43, said in an interview with Deadline published on Saturday,

It has only been three months since filmmaker signed on the dotted line for a sequel to his crime caper Wolfs with George Clooney and Brad Pitt, but the film is no longer moving forward at Apple. Watts himself confirmed the news in an interview with Collider.
