The white coating on the discless Xbox Series X matches the same “robot white” found on the Xbox Series S. Microsoft is also releasing a $349.99 1TB Xbox Series S in white for the holidays, alongside a $599.99 2TB “Galaxy Black” special edition of the Xbox Series X.

You can grab a 1 TB Xbox without a disc drive for a slight discount, but even with redesigned internals there's not much to entice gamers.

The new all-digital white Xbox Series X and 2TB Galaxy Black model have started shipping in select markets today, with more countries to follow on November 29.

The cooling for the updated 6nm chip has also been redesigned on these new Xbox Series X models. There’s no longer a vapor chamber, and Microsoft is using a more traditional copper heat pipe design instead. Evans found that the exhaust temperature and noise of these new Xbox Series X models hasn’t changed from the original, though.
