Chandler Jones, who set records as a wide receiver at Bishop Montgomery High in Torrance and San José State University, died Sunday at age 33 in a freeway accident, authorities said.

Former San José State wide receiver Chandler Jones died on Sunday in Los Angeles after being hit in a highway accident. He was 33 years old.

After his playing career, Jones worked as a coach, notably back at San José State and with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.
