Indian cricket team star batter Virat Kohli was in a jovial mood during Day 2 of the first Test match against Bangladesh in Chennai.

After a rare failure in two consecutive outings, Virat Kohli hit the nets in preparation for the second Test. All Kohli could muster is 23 in two outings and with a long season coming up, that is bound to be concerning for the team.

Virat Kohli is having a poor run of form across all formats this year. In 15 matches and 17 innings this year, he has scored just 319 runs at a sub-par average of 18.76. Virat Kohli’s poor form continued as he failed to fire in the first Test against Bangladesh held at Chennai.

The veteran wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim scored 8 and 13 runs across two innings of the ongoing Test match against India but it was enough for him to become Bangladesh's all-time leading run-scorer in international cricket.

Mushfiqur Rahim became Bangladesh's all-time highest run-scorer in international cricket, surpassing Tamim Iqbal with 15,205 runs during the first Test against India.

Tamim Iqbal said that Zakir Hasan and Shadman Islam would be disappointed after not being able to convert starts in the second innings of the opening Test at the Chepauk.
