A civil jury in Ireland has awarded more than $250,000 to a woman who says she was raped by mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor in a Dublin hotel penthouse after a night of heavy partying.

After he left court, McGregor announced on X that he plans to appeal the verdict and what he called a "modest award."

Nikita Hand, the woman who accused Conor McGregor of a 2018 sexual assault in a civil case in Dublin High Court, has won her case against the UFC superstar. The jury returned their verdict on Friday morning.
