Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman will still be dealing with an ankle injury in 2025. But there isn't really any reason to fret as Freeman etched his name in Dodgers lore as the hobbled hero of the 2024 World Series run.

Freddie Freeman added to a résumé that was already due to be accepted for Hall of Fame enshrinement, blasting an iconic walk-off grand slam and hitting four home runs overall to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to the 2024 World Series title.

Freeman, whose friendship with Hackman spans decades, called the late actor a “giant” of the film industry in his homage.
