A new $50,000 fine isn't stopping the strike for Marblehead teachers, and each day the strike continues, that fine goes up by $10,000.

Superintendent John Robidoux reversed his decision to cancel all athletic and extracurricular activities during the work stoppage.

Students will be allowed to resume extracurricular activities while teachers are on strike, Interim Superintendent John Robidoux said in a statement Thursday afternoon.
