AEW Grand Slam 2025 went "Down Under" Saturday night in Brisbane, Australia for an action-packed event with three title matches. The premier women's championship in AEW occupied the spotlight as AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May continued her saga with "Timeless" Toni Storm.

Mariah May pokes fun at Toni Storm ahead of AEW Grand Slam Australia. At the event this coming Saturday, "Timeless" Toni Storm will look to reclaim the AEW Women's World Title from her former ally, Mariah May. The pair previously met at AEW All In last year, where May would defeat Storm to win the AEW Women's World Championship.

The Grand Slam special features three championship matches including Toni Storm challenging Mariah May for the AEW Women's World Championship.

Toni Storm has regained the AEW Women's Championship. Toni Storm defeated Mariah May to win the AEW Women's Title in the main event of AEW Grand Slam Australia. Near the end of the match Storm hit the four hip attacks in the corner followed by a Storm Zero, but May kicked out. May responded with a pair of May Days, but Storm kicked out.

Australia, Toni Storm challenged Mariah May for the AEW Women’s World Championship. The two foes clashed in the main event, and in the end, Storm defeated May to win the gold. In doing so, she became a four-time champion.

By becoming the company’s first-ever four-time Women’s World champion in the main event in the country she calls home, Storm also got a measure of revenge against her betrayer Mariah May.
