Anya Taylor-Joy is set to star in and executive produce the limited series "Lucky" at Apple TV+, Variety has learned. The series is based on the Marissa Stapley novel of the same name. The book was a New York Times bestseller and a selection for Reese Witherspoon's Reese's Book Club.

Taylor-Joy will portray the book’s protagonist, Lucky Armstrong, described as “a young woman who left behind the life of crime she was raised in years ago, but must now embrace her darker, criminal side one final time in a desperate attempt to escape her past.”
