Borussia Dortmund have booked their Club World Cup quarter-final place after a 2-1 win against Monterrey. Serhou Guirassy got the goals for the Bundesliga side with two well-taken first-half finishes. German Berterame headed Monterrey back into the game straight after half-time but they could not find an equaliser.

Serhou Guirassy scored a pair of first-half goals, both assisted by Karim Adeyemi, and Borussia Dortmund held off Monterrey 2-1 in the final round of 16 game at the Club World Cup.
