Bayern Munich’s next target in the transfer window is reported to be Chelsea FC’s Christopher Nkunku. With Kingsley Coman expected to leave to Saudi Arabia, the Bavarians have lined up his replacement on the wing. The 27-year-old attacker from Chelsea is available only for a full transfer with no option to loan for Bayern Munich.
Chelsea want Xavi Simons – a player apparently also on Bayern’s radar – and the possible sale of Nkunku could help fund a move for the Netherlands international. The reporter suggests Chelsea are expecting a fee of around €40 million (£34.5m) plus add ons for Nkunku.
The Blues are in talks with two German clubs as they look to slim down their squad before the transfer deadline.
