Sterling Sharpe’s brilliant seven-year career with the Green Bay Packers is good enough to join football greats in the Pro Football Hall of Fame

The late John Brosig of Pound, Wis., was named the 27th member of the Green Bay Packers FAN Hall of Fame on Monday. Brosig was selected by fans from among 10 finalists during a voting period that ran from Jan. 1-31 on packers.com. More than 70,000 total votes were cast from throughout the United States and countries around the world.

Brosig, the 27th FAN Hall of Fame member, is the first posthumous selection. He was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in June 2024 and died Dec. 28 at age 80. He knew he was a hall of fame finalist and was pleased about that, said son Max Brosig.
