Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma allegedly posted controversial content on social media as part of the promotions for his movie Vyuham. Speaking to the news agency ANI, the director has finally broken his silence on the matter.

Ram Gopal Varma responded to the allegations and the subsequent case over his controversial post from a year ago. Calling the case against him ‘unwarranted’, he said that the police were showing urgency as if they aim to resolve the case within a week.

The court passed the interim orders on a quash petition filed by the director. The case was posted to December 9 for further hearing.
