The exhibit’s centerpiece is a gallery for the Dead Sea Scrolls, which are preserved carefully under low lighting and humidity and at a steady temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The scrolls feature text from the Hebrew Bible, which is Christianity’s Old Testament, and include passages from books such as Exodus, Deuteronomy and Proverbs.

The famed Magdala Stone has intricate carvings that ‘showcase the earliest known synagogue images of Temple Menorah.’
