Since missing the cut in his first two starts of the FedEx Cup Fall, Maverick McNealy has played high-level golf. He finished T-16 at the Shriners, T-6 at the World Wide Technology and T-17 at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. Now, he’s 18 holes away from claiming his first PGA Tour win at The RSM Classic.

Maverick McNealy and Vince Whaley are tied for the lead going into the final round of the RSM Classic. Both are looking for their first PGA Tour victory.

Bramlett, needing at least a three-way tie for third to keep his PGA Tour card, sits T-12 through 54 holes in Sea Island, a few shots behind McNealy, his longtime friend.

Vince Whaley matched the low round of the day with a 7-under-par 63 on Saturday to share the lead with Maverick McNealy at the RSM Classic in St. Simons Island, Ga.
