Two people were rescued from the San Francisco Bay Saturday evening after reports that a swimmer was in distress, firefighters said.

The San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD) said two swimmers in distress were rescued with the help of the department’s rescue boats in the San Francisco Bay on Saturday evening. SFFD said both are now safe on shore.
