Supergiant Games pushed the first large-scale Hades 2 update live on PC, and it’s appropriately named the Olympic Update

Hades 2's Olympic Update acts as the first major update to the sequel to one of the best roguelike action role-playing games in recent memory.

The Hades 2 Olympic Update is available now, bringing new story, characters, a new weapon, and a new boss fight to take on.

Supergiant Games has released new free downloadable content for the PC-only game Hades 2. Titled "The Olympic Update", it brings many new features to the action roguelite and players who own the game in its current early access state can already play through everything it has to offer.

Supergiant Games updated Hades 2 on Wednesday with its first major update, called the Olympic Update. Hades 2 entered its early access development period in May, and has received several patches since then; Wednesday’s update is the first major content addition, bringing a new region and new weapons, boons, characters, and voice lines.

Hades 2 gets its first major update in early access, bringing with it a laundry list of new additions and enhancements to existing content.

With Hades II already being bigger than its 2020 predecessor, it’s hard to believe the sequel to Supergiant’s blockbuster action-roguelite is still in Early Access. Well, now there’s even more of the game to explore thanks to the Olympic update.
