Texas Democrats say they are ending a two-week walkout that stalled Republican efforts to redraw congressional districts as part of a national partisan brawl over President Donald Trump’s desire to reshape U.

After two weeks out of state, Democratic lawmakers said they would return to Austin and lay the groundwork for a legal challenge to the GOP’s proposed congressional map.

Texas House Democrats are expected to return to the Legislature on Monday after denying a quorum for two weeks.
