Flash floods in Texas killed at least 82 people over the Fourth of July holiday weekend and left others still missing, including girls attending a summer camp.

Flash flooding in Texas Hill Country, triggered by intense thunderstorms, has resulted in at least 81 deaths, including at least 28 children. Camp Mystic, a girls' camp located on the Guadalupe River, confirmed at least 27 deaths among campers and counselors.

"Camp Mystic is grieving the loss of 27 campers and counselors following the catastrophic flooding on the Guadalupe River," the camp said in a statement.

The Dallas Cowboys are donating $500,000 to the Salvation Army to assist in recovery from the flooding that has devastated the Texas Hill Country, the team announced Sunday.
