I actually rebuilt the file explorer index and that helped a lot by going to "Control Panel" then "Indexing Options" then "Advanced" then "Rebuild". the Movies & TV app still is a little weird but it is more or less working. Now when i click on a word file in explorer it pulls it right up like before.
