Or, you could make a mod where all the power armor requires energy cells to repair, instead of other power. Possibly both, where you'd have a script that degrades the armor as you walk around.

May 1, 2023 · I know FO4's aesthetic gets a bad rap but the Power Armor really is a massive improvement. It looks like something you'd need special training to operate and maintain, and imagining an army of them thundering across an Alaskan battlefield ignoring bullets as they charge into a Chinese artillery line is incredible. Sep 20, 2019 · It is well established in Fallout lore that the X-01 and Advanced Power Armor are two different sets of armor, however the Fallout 4 Power Armor Overhaul, while a fantastic mod, doesn't address this, and simply turns the Remnants Power Armor into the X-01.
