Windows Scanning - NAPS2
Installation. Download the NAPS2 installer from the download page. Using the .exe installer is recommended, but you can use the .msi installer for Organization Use or the .zip as a portable archive. naps2-7.5.2-win.exe. Assuming you've downloaded the .exe installer, click on it to run. Then select the language you want to use in the installation.

Troubleshooting - NAPS2
I can't select my scanner. Try each of these steps and see if they fix the problem: Make sure your scanner is plugged in, turned on, and connected to your computer. Make sure you have your scanner's drivers installed. Google "(model number) drivers" if you need to find them. In your profile settings, try switching between different driver options.
Batch Scanning - NAPS2
Output Configuration. There are a few output options. "Load images into NAPS2": Like a normal scan in NAPS2, images are loaded in and you can edit, view, and rearrange them before saving however you want. "Save to a single file": All images from every scan in the batch are put together into one file and saved to your chosen location and file type.
Command Line Usage - NAPS2
When using --noprofile, you need to specify a device on the command line. Use --listdevices to see the available devices. ~> naps2.console --listdevices --driver twain. Canon MP495 ser. CanoScan LiDE 400. Then, when scanning, use --device to pick the device.
OCR - NAPS2
Fix white balance and remove noise - This option can improve OCR quality with low-quality scans, but will make OCR slower.
