Here’s a rare commercial for a 1968 Pontiac GTO. This commercial was inspired by the 1967 movie "Bonnie and Clyde", staring Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, and Michael J. Pollard, but this controversial spoof with uncanny casting was quickly removed from national broadcast for unknown reasons. So, the choice of time-travelling bank robbers using a GTO as a getaway car everywhere could have been a much heavier trend! It’s funny,…that small suitcase of money wouldn’t have gotten them that car today!
