#InResidence: Coffee Table Dress by Hussein Chalayan, c. 2000 — "For designer Hussein Chalayan’s A/W 2000 collection, furniture and fashion are deeply intertwined. The set resembled a domestic interior confined to Chalayan’s trademark white walls. Four chairs and a coffee table were covered with decorative objects. As the models weaved around the furniture, they began removing the objects one by one, until four models emerged in grey shift dresses and swiped the covers off the chairs to wear the
