Around 1 PM a helicopter made an emergency landing in Cedar Lake after possibly having engine trouble, according to sources. Two occupants were able to swim to shore safely. The helicopter is completely submerged at this time and it is believed to be a Robinson R22 model. The helicopter was a private helicopter rented from the Lansing Airport. A witness to the crash stated the white helicopter seemed out of control as it went down into the water. Lake County Hazmat and Dive Teams are now attempt
