Tears Transitions Trend: Embrace the Emotion

S A J I D ヅ on Instagram: "This statue is called “Endless Flow of Tears”—stands at the Comfort Women Museum in Nanjing, built on the site of the Lijixiang “Comfort Stations.”  She represents a former comfort woman, forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese military during the Nanjing Massacre period (1937-38).  Water drips from her eyes, and visitors are invited to wipe away those tears—symbolic of both grief and the act of witnessing / remembering.  The museum’s design uses “tears” as a rec
