This was the seizure back in July that got me my epilepsy diagnosis. The ER doctor took one look at this video and said “she needs to be admitted right now, not two weeks from now.” It was then that I got admitted to the EMU and we had doctors who actually took us seriously. Monday night Eliana had 3 5 minute seizures. This is something that has mever happened to us. It was the first time we had to use our spray rescue mediation and our first urgent 911 call. Response time to longer seizures is imperative. We worked like a well oiled machine and I am so proud of how Duran, myself and Rissa responded.
