Accross the UK there are regional Training Units where Reservists complete their training Modules. Here at Army Training Unit Scotland these recruits have been undertaking Basic Training Module B. This is 16 day course to further the training they have already received. Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) experts from 33 (EOD) Engineer Regiment, based in Wimbish, Essex, have spent the last two weeks searching for, safely collecting and disposing of unexploded ordnance on the ranges and training areas of Kirkcudbright. As well as keeping their skills sharp, they’re ensuring that the ranges are safe for both training and public access.
