We have been seeing this coyote checking out the fox den for several nights in a row now. There are 5 red fox kits in this den. Coyotes have been known to hunt red fox. However, if you look at this video more closly you'll notice the coyote has a bad back right paw. It's limping pretty good. Therefore I doubt this coyote can chase something down efficently.
