Keith Whitley was born on July 1, 1954. He would have turned 70 today, but sadly, he was taken from us in 1989 at just 34. His only child, Jesse Keith Whitley, was not yet two years old when his father passed away. Sadly, Keith couldn't see the success his song "I'm Over You" would have.
