Happy International Snow Leopard Day everybody! This Snow leopard's excited reaction to a fresh delivery of snow was captured on keeper cam at Melbourne Zoo last month. ​ ​Shortly after the delivery, three-year-old leopard Miska sprang into action, somersaulting and playing in the snow. Snow Leopards are classified as vulnerable in the wild, and the Snow Leopards at Melbourne Zoo are part of an important International breeding program to help preserve the species in the fight against extinction.
